Travis Kelce attempted to give his number to Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce recently revealed his unsuccessful attempt to connect with Taylor Swift at her Kansas City stop on the Eras Tour, which took place on July 7. He had a unique gift for her, bringing friendship bracelets with his “number” on them, following a Swiftie tradition. However, he couldn’t break through Taylor’s pre-show rituals to deliver the bracelets personally.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Travis revealed on the July 26 episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother Jason Kelce. “So I was a little upset that I couldn’t personally give her one of the bracelets I made for her.”

After explaining the idea of friendship bracelets to the Philadelphia Eagles center, Travis Kelce, the 33-year-old mentioned, “I received a bunch of them being there, but I really wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”

However, Travis kept it playful and didn’t disclose whether the bracelet was a way to get the “Anti-Hero” singer Taylor Swift his phone number or simply bore his jersey number. Jason teased his brother, saying, “Oooo,” and then asked, “Your number as in 87 or your phone number?”

But it seems Travis doesn’t kiss and tell, even if his attempt didn’t go as planned. He simply told Jason, “You know which one.”

The NFL tight end isn’t the only celebrity to make sure to attend one of the Grammy winner’s tour stops. During the same show that Travis attended, Taylor Swift had special guests Taylor Lautner, Joey King, and Presley Cash, all of whom starred in her “I Can See You” music video from her album “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).”
