On Monday, the Arizona woman was involved in a three-car wreck and charged with driving under the influence ― on the way to her wedding.

Police say Amber Young was en route to her wedding in Marana when she was involved in a vehicle crash.

Scott tweeted, 'A driver was arrested for DUI this AM while driving to her wedding.

A picture issued by the Marana Police Department shows the bride-to-be in handcuffs being ushered into the back of a patrol vehicle on a busy road. Police believe she caused the crash. A police officer tweeted: "Don't drive impaired".

One person was also transported to the hospital for minor injuries, police said. She signed a criminal citation with a promise to appear in court at a later date and was released to her fiancee.

Young was arrested at the scene but later released after giving a blood test.

Arizona has some of the harshest DUI laws in the country, according to KPHO in Arizona.

It is not known if Young made it to her wedding.

"However, Arizona law allows for your license to be suspended if there is alcohol concentration less than 0.08 percent in the case of slight impairment".
