Sarah Palin's son again arrested on domestic violence charges

Sarah Palin's son again arrested on domestic violence charges”

The son of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin attacked his father over the weekend while "freaking out" after taking an unknown medication, it was reported Monday.

Track Palin arrived at the family home on Saturday after telling his father, Todd Palin, that he was going to "beat his ass", according to a sworn affidavit obtained by the Anchorage Daily News.

When cops arrived at the Palin family home, they observed a window that Track had broken to gain entry into the house and assault Todd.

Sarah Palin, who was John McCain's running mate in the 2008 presidential elections, driving on a platform of conservative Republicanism, landed in hot water in 2016, when Track was charged with assaulting his girlfriend. Palin allegedly punched her in the face, kicked her, and threatened to kill himself with his semi-automatic rifle.

The confrontation started when Track Palin, 28, allegedly said he was coming over to the Palin residence in Wasilla, Alaska, to pick up a truck.

Police say that Track initially called Todd regarding a truck.

Prior to the altercation, Loewe reportedly filed for full custody of the couple's then-newborn son Charlie, citing "domestic violence" as cause, according to the Daily Mail. There was no attorney listed for him. Todd told Track not to come since he'd been drinking and was on pain meds, but Track came anyway.

New information has been released after the arrest of Sarah Palin's eldest son Track.

Sarah Palin indicated when her son was first accused of domestic violence in 2016 that post-traumatic stress disorder might have been a factor.

Last year, Palin, who served in Iraq, faced several charges related to domestic violence, including using a weapon while intoxicated, for which he was convicted of misconduct at a special veterans' court.

The former Governor of Alaska previously explained that her son's arrest stemmed from his war-induced PTSD.

"Given the nature of actions addressed... by law enforcement and the charges involved, the Palins are unable to comment further".
