Wanted Florida teen spotted in central Pa. caught trying to enter Canadaā€¯

The Jacksonville Sheriffs Office tweeted just after 11 p.m. Friday that it had captured Logan Mott, 15, at the U.S. Customs and Border as he tried to enter Canada from the Buffalo, New York area.

UPDATE, Friday, 5:50 p.m.: The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office released a new flier with missing 15-year-old Logan Mott's image, calling him "armed and unsafe". They returned home from the airport Wednesday to find the Seagate Avenue home was open and the house was ransacked.

Investigators said they uncovered evidence of foul play and "possible criminal violence" inside the home, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. The silver Dodge Dart initially described in the Florida Missing Child Alert issued on Wednesday is still missing.

It wasn't immediately clear how Logan's grandmother came to die and why for that matter the woman was buried in the boy's backyard and what caused the teen to flee. Please call me. I will help you.

His grandmother, 53, is missing but authorities believe her remains were found Friday in the backyard of a Florida home.

Mott's mother Carrie Campbell-Mott released the following statement after learning her son was in custody, CBS affiliate WJAX reports: "We are relieved he is safe and in custody and we just ask for everyone to give us time to sort out what happened. They appear consistent with the description of Kristina French, but there will be no positive identification until the autopsy is completed by the medical examiner", says JSO's Director of Investigations, Ron Lendvay.

Logan Mott is believed to be in south central Pennsylvania and a warrant is being issued for his arrest on a charge of auto theft.

She said a Jacksonville detective will fly to meet Logan on Saturday.

Eric Motts updated Facebook cover photo, posted Thursday and still up, pictures his son and his mother, French, with the word "Missing" in red letters.

A teen in florida who is suspected of killing his grandmother has been pinned at the border while attempting to flee to Canada through the customs of Buffalo, in the State of NY.

Campbell-Mott said she last spoke to Logan on Sunday and that he seemed to be in a good mood.
