Trump Opens the Door to Campaigning for Roy Mooreā€¯

He was leaving the White House for a Thanksgiving vacation and was asked about Roy Moore, the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Alabama, a man who has now been repeatedly accused of hitting on, flirting with, attempting to date and sexually assaulting teenage girls when he was in his 30s.

In her first televised interview since the Post detailed her allegations, Leigh Corfman told NBC's "Today" show on Monday that Moore "basically laid out some blankets on the floor of his living room and proceeded to seduce me, I guess you would say" on her second visit to his home when she was 14 and he was 32.

"I can tell you one thing for sure, we don't need a liberal person in there", Trump said.

Trump criticized Moore's opponent, Democrat Doug Jones, as being "terrible on crime, bad on borders".

Trump has previously said that Moore should step aside if the allegations were true. He totally denies hit. Two have accused him of assault or molestation.

Meanwhile, at a press conference in Montgomery, Ala., on Tuesday afternoon, Dean Young, Moore's chief strategist, said Conway's comments show how important the Alabama Senate race is to the Trump presidency. Luther Strange (R-AL). Bannon endorsed and campaigned for Moore, who ended up thumping Strange.

"Judge Moore is going to go help Donald Trump". "Plus 53% of white women love me!" he denies it, he had a lot to say about his major Democratic opponent, Doug Jones.

Trump's Tuesday remarks put space between him and the Republican establishment, which has backed away from Moore.

Dean Young, Moore's campaign adviser, said that Alabamiams can not elect Doug "the liberal Democrat" Jones because he will back judges who support partial-birth abortions.

"Forty years is a long time", Trump said, questioning why it took so long for Moore's accusers to come forward.

By saying he supports Moore's version of events, Trump is, de facto, saying that the women aren't telling the truth. "He'll be a vote against tax cuts". The special election is slated for December 12. "Forty years is a long time", Trump said, pointing to the amount of time that has passed since the alleged behavior.
