Referee explains reversal of Bears tight end Zach Miller's touchdown vs. Saints”

A streak that started in Charlotte, continued in London, picked up steam back home vs. the Lions, survived a slow start in Green Bay, reached five games with a 20-12 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

The Saints scored on an 8-yard run by Alvin Kamara on the opening possession and a 1-yard run by Ingram later in the first half. For now, Ingram remains the team's lead back, but his team bailed him out on Sunday. The scoring drive was setup by a Drew Brees to Brandon Coleman 54-yard connection.

The Saints (5-2) appeared to be moving for the clinching score when Brees connected with Ted Ginn Jr. on a 53-yard pass to the Chicago 26. The Saints have recommitted to the run game recent weeks, which has allowed both New Orleans running backs to maintain fantasy value. But they lost 2 yards on three plays and had to settle for Connor Barth's 27-yard field goal, which made it 7-3. The ball hit the ground; therefore, it's incomplete. The apparent touchdown was then overturned by replay officials.

Miller was carted off the field after the touchdown play fell apart with bad news expected in terms of the severity of his leg injury.
