Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test today

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test todayā€¯

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test in Dubai will be broadcasted live on PTV Sports for & Sony Pictures Network on both SD and HD channels.

The second test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan will be played today at the Dubai global Cricket Stadium. This is the sixth day-night test match to be played with the use of a pink ball.

At the close of the day, Karunaratne (133 n.o.) and captain Dinesh Chandimal (49) were at the crease, sharing an unbroken stand of 118 for the fourth wicket.

There are a lot of questions being raised about the Pakistan team management.

Dimuth Karunaratne of Sri Lanka leave the field. Rangana Herath unfailingly delivered the goods on the final day yet again, becoming the first left-arm spinner to bring up 400 Test wickets in history.

Lanka made their intent clear from the beginning by playing positive cricket as they are bidding to win the two-match series after taking a 1-0 lead by beating the hosts in the first match. Herath remained not out with his 27 runs so far.

"This is a young batting line-up obviously trying to find their way", was Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur's best attempt at trying to make sense of what had transpired on a insane final day.

The moment Sri Lanka went after him, starting from Sadeera Samarawickrama on the opening day, Pakistan simply had nothing to fall back upon.

It will be the terms with the post-Mis-You era, but there's no way around it. The same XI could take the field in Dubai, hoping to keep their proud record intact, but Pakistan are forced to make a change owing to Hasan Ali's troublesome glute.

Ali - the backbone of Pakistan's batting line-up - has become the eighth batsman to complete 5,000 runs in Test matches.

That leaves Pakistan, already struggling with the ball in this Test, a bowler short going ahead - with only one specialist spinner and with Wahab Riaz enduring his own problems at one stage with his run-up. So there are no grounds for a triumphant Sri Lanka to alter their combination either.
