Mourinho Provides Update On Pogba Injury”

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will appear at a Spanish court to answer allegations of tax fraud on November 3, just two days before his side face his former club Chelsea in the Premier League.

"Look, without Zlatan, we can not rotate the striker, especially because Marcus Rashford is playing also in other positions", Mourinho said ahead of Saturday's visit of bottom club Crystal Palace.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says that he "does not welcome" the upcoming global break.

Ibrahimović was let go by United last season, after ending a superb first season with the club by suffering a horror knee injury towards the end of the campaign.

Mourinho revealed that Pogba's injury is on the long-term side like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo.

The Red Devils have got off to a flying start this season and are now joint top of the Premier League table while they have secured back-to-back wins in the UEFA Champions League.

Mourinho, whose team host Crystal Palace on Saturday, said it would be up to the 24-year-old Lukaku to continue delivering until Ibrahimovic was available once more.

"Look, without Zlatan we can not rotate the striker, especially because Marcus Rashford is playing also in other positions", Mourinho told reporters.

"And now, of course, I think Manchester United is a different level of expectation and he's coping well".

"The mentality is very important because we played Wednesday night and we arrived in Manchester at 4am, so home 5am".

"We have to train and to make decisions after training but I hope some of the players that couldn't play in Moscow [can play]", Mourinho said. "I can not, professionally speaking, say, "Do this or do that". "What I am saying is that from all the injuries we have, I hope we can have some players available tomorrow".

While irked by the ongoing scheduling issues impacting teams in continental action, Mourinho did not want to be seen as moaning as it "doesn't give me solutions".
