Fearless Real Estate Agent Catches Shark And Throws It Back Into Ocean

Fearless Real Estate Agent Catches Shark And Throws It Back Into Ocean”

An Australian real-estate agent has been nicknamed "shark wrangler" after a video of her casually lifting a swimming shark and transferring it on the other side went viral.

"Our in-house shark wrangler Melissa Hatheier wrestling a shark out of Oak Park rock pool yesterday morning", the Facebook post read.

This mother of a family was coming for a swim in the pool, ocean to Oak Park in Cronulla (Australia) when she saw the small shark.

Hatheier's mother was swimming with the local club "The Jellybean Minstrels" when she spotted the shark.

"I was warned that there was a shark".

The shark was thought to be a Port Jackson, and Hatheier's act in freeing it has been dubbed "the most Australian thing ever" on social media.

"So I came down, there was a bit of a crew here, and had a look and he was a little Port Jackson and was doing laps of the pool." she told Channel 9's Today show. "I just threw him over the edge of the pool into the water and watched him swim away", she explained, News.com.au reported. "Everyone was saying, 'What do we do?' "I herded the shark into the shallows and then I just sort of jumped on him and put my knees on his fins". Then I left him to side of sheep, "he used his statements".

Hatheier's daughter, Shannon, captured the daring save on video, showing the real estate agent using her bare hands and picking up the shark and safely placing it over the divider.

"I wouldn't have done it with a great white", she said.
