Cat crashes Cardinals, Royals MLB game

Cat crashes Cardinals, Royals MLB game”

A small gray and black cat ran onto the field during Wednesday night's St. Louis Cardinals game.

After managing to pick up the cat, Lucas Hackmann, a member of the Busch Stadium grounds crew, was treated at first aid for the scratches and bite he received from the cat.

But while the blast was consistent with Molina's recent hitting performance, it was the cat, not the catcher, that received the lion's share of the credit.

Can the St. Louis Cardinals continue their winning ways over the Kansas City Royals when these two bring the series to St. Louis tonight at 8:15PM ET?

After the St. Louis Cardinals' latest win Wednesday, Mike Matheny said he's not a cat person.

Harris, 35, a manager at Ice & Fuel in Kirkwood, said she saw the cat on the field and immediately thought, "I need to find that feline".

It is now unknown when Rally Cat is at.

For those who may no remember, a squirrel interrupted a game during the Cardinals' National League Division Series against the Phillies back in 2011, running right through the batters box and in front of home plate. "I looked at Lorenzo Cain, he was like laughing at me, all the players were laughing at me".

Leake was pounded for 11 hits and five runs (four earned) in five innings.

Matt Bowman (3-4) earned the win. The first four Royals batters collected hits. That's when the fan said it was hers, but now she admits she was just trying to give it a home. Kansas City SS Alcides Escobar started his 284th straight game, tying Baltimore's Miguel Tejada (2004-05) for the longest streak in the majors at the position since the Orioles' Cal Ripken Jr. started 2,216 consecutive games at short from 1982-96. The Humane Society and Stray Rescue of St. Louis have both said they do not have the cat.
