Is Rape A Pre-existing Condition? Not Exactly”

God is good. the the the Iraqi town Hall New Jersey teen ager and grilled Republican congressman on the card her over his key role in providing in house bill to repeal and replace Obamacare and this is your amendments or. because the Democrats are in an.

From the moment Rep. Tom MacArthur (R-NJ) started his first town hall since the House passed Trumpcare, it was clear the night would be brutal.

MacArthur's town hall was created to weed out interlopers. MacArthur responded "And I don't believe I have".

Dozens of protesters have gathered outside a site where a New Jersey Republican lawmaker instrumental in helping the GOP-led House pass a health care overhaul bill is holding a town hall. "I came to this town because I want to meet with my constituents and tell you the things that matter to me, the things I'm doing and why I'm doing them", MacArthur told the crowd.

Later when attempting to discuss the legislation, the crowd started to chant "single payer!"

"You can disagree", he told the crowd, "but I am trying to do what I can to save a health insurance market that is collapsing".

"And as I said, I think it's tremendous courage for you to come out and share that", MacArthur continued.

Rep. Tom MacArthur was responding Wednesday to an angry constituent who asked him how long he was going to "defend this American nightmare". He wants to see how the House, Senate and FBI investigations play out, and repeatedly argued that a special prosecutor would not be a "silver bullet" guaranteeing an independent probe. The Burlington Township resident said he was angry about the health care legislation, as well as other actions advanced by Republican Donald Trump since his January inauguration. "This is your health care bill", one man, who was referring to the AHCA, told MacArthur. The Republican-led Senate is expected to author its own version.

MacArthur, a former insurance executive, wrote an amendment that revived the failed bill, which now includes a provision allowing states to seek waivers from the federal requirements that insurers offer a specific package of benefits and not charge more to those with preexisting conditions such as cancer or diabetes. The change would be for people who let their coverage lapse.

The Congressional Budget Office estimated that under initial versions of the House bill 24 million fewer people would have health insurance by 2026.

MacArthur faced off against an overwhelmingly angry crowd of 300 people in Willingboro a week after House Republicans passed their Obamacare repeal and replacement bill thanks to his amendment.

"In terms of dollars, that was one of the smallest ones", said MacArthur, highlighting the bill's other tax cuts.

While health care took up most of the evening, many people also raised concerns about possible ties between the Trump administration and Russian Federation. It cuts the Medicaid program for low-income people and lets states impose work requirements on Medicaid recipients. Republican Gov. Chris Christie estimates 500,000 residents have gained coverage under the expansion, which he has touted as part of his efforts to fight the state's opioid addiction epidemic.

New Jersey also has about 288,000 people in the ACA's individual marketplace, according to federal data.

During a five-hour town hall meeting in New Jersey on Wednesday, the congressman became the whipping boy for dozens of furious citizens who were outraged over his decision to advocate for the AHCA.

Later, 17-year-old Daisy Confoy, who said she will be old enough to vote in 2018, asked the same question. But mostly, constituents wanted to know how MacArthur could break his promise that he would never support a bill that would take health care away from Americans. "I know it's real", he said, after one of many detailed, personal stories about health care battles and insurance woes.

Later at the town hall meeting another young woman asked the congressman a similar question.

The New Jersey representative was in the town of Willingboro Wednesday night for a public meeting that lasted nearly five hours, as his constituents voiced their anger about his amendment to the Trump administration's health care bill, telling him he had "blood on [his] hands". VanWright said she's a Democrat and that her message to MacArthur is to abandon repealing Barack Obama's signature law and instead embracing universal health coverage.
